You'll be working on a WEB/Angular service-oriented application (REST API) with complex SQL queries that enables customers (front office, middle office and compliance) to trade on Canadian markets, as well as reporting transactions to regulators.
Your MISSIONS
- Creating new features. This involves not only writing code, but also making design/architectural decisions, testing, tracking quality metrics and producing documentation.
- Presentation of features to stakeholders and product owners to gain a solid understanding of the business.
- Participation in Scrum-related activities, such as daily meetings, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives and demonstrations.
- Delivery of standards-compliant software
- Provide operational support as needed.
Your PROFILE
- University degree in computer science / informatics.At least 5 years' experience in IT in complex information systems environments.Experience in corporate banking, investment banking or finance is an asset.
Your SKILLS
- Significant experience with C# - .NET Core and SQL - SQL Server
- Angular skills a plus
- Knowledge of design models
- Mastery of the Agile Scrum method
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD)
- Ability to work with complex information systems
- Knowledge of corporate finance (stock markets, interest rates, derivatives, etc.) is an asset.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English - French a plus
- Organizational, methodological and analytical skills
- Communication skills

In 2015, I met the Quanteam teams at a student trade fair in Paris Dauphine and immediately got a good feeling. I joined the firm as Trade Support / Front Office and started an assignment with a Paris-based client. In 2018, I wanted to change my life and expressed the wish to move abroad. Quanteam was very open and offered me a move to the firm's New York office, as well as an assignment with one of its prestigious customers in the Banking sector. The Quanteam North America teams were very efficient in their support and took care of the whole administrative process (green card...) and, within three months, I was able to move to the United States. Over there, I discovered a new culture and a new continent, while keeping in touch with what makes Quanteam's DNA so strong: the closeness with management (Jean Etienne) and the teams, as well as the conviviality that can be found at the events regularly organized by the firm (roof-top afterwork, NBA basketball game, boat cruise...).
