The team's mission is to provide the Bank with a system used to calculate market and counterparty risk figures using advanced methods, and to meet users' needs for risk analysis, risk reporting and credit processes.
In this context, the team is responsible for the data integration chain, which captures all data from the front office, risk and repository systems, transforms this data and captures it in the data warehouse. This data is then used by the calculation/modeling teams.
Your MISSIONS
The candidate will assume the role of a Data Scientist / Python Developer specialized in Machine Learning in the following way:
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Python code
- Rapidly prototype solutions to quickly validate or refute new concepts
- Design and implement high-availability, high-performance applications using machine learning concepts
- Work with risk analysts, risk quants and product owners to translate functional requirements into efficient, maintainable code
- Guarantee the best possible application performance, quality and responsiveness
- Identify bugs and design solutions to resolve them
- Integration with various data storage solutions
Your PROFILE
Master's degree in computer science and/or finance. Experience with data and/or risk management is preferred.
Your SKILLS
- Knowledge of risks (market risk, credit risk, stress tests, models, etc.)
- Quantitative exposure in a risk environment
- Mastery of Python, with a good knowledge of its ecosystem
- Solid understanding of machine learning and data science concepts
- Experience with industry-standard relational databases
- Create data schemas that represent and support business processes
- Strong analytical skills with a creative and flexible approach to problem solving
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Results-driven with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

In 2015, I met the Quanteam teams at a student trade fair in Paris Dauphine and immediately got a good feeling. I joined the firm as Trade Support / Front Office and started an assignment with a Paris-based client. In 2018, I wanted to change my life and expressed the wish to move abroad. Quanteam was very open and offered me a move to the firm's New York office, as well as an assignment with one of its prestigious customers in the Banking sector. The Quanteam North America teams were very efficient in their support and took care of the whole administrative process (green card...) and, within three months, I was able to move to the United States. Over there, I discovered a new culture and a new continent, while keeping in touch with what makes Quanteam's DNA so strong: the closeness with management (Jean Etienne) and the teams, as well as the conviviality that can be found at the events regularly organized by the firm (roof-top afterwork, NBA basketball game, boat cruise...).
