Details of the Offer

The Test Center (TCE) provides testing services to the Nanterre-based company, based on a well-defined, mature, and proven testing strategy and methodology. Its main activities are the design and execution of tests. The TCE is involved in testing projects for the company’s main business areas, “Economies” and “Protection,” designing and executing tests for widely used applications such as ORION, HERA, Wynsure, and GLIS.

Your RESPONSIBILITIES

As a test manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Contribute to the testing strategy: Assist in developing the test strategy and test master plan, ensuring that all tests are properly designed and executed.
  • Test design and execution:
    • Agree to the project scope and deliverables.
    • Enter the test items into the designated tool in accordance with the standards.
    • Ensure that all deliverables for the test project are developed, validated, and communicated within your scope.
    • Prioritize tests appropriately within your scope.
    • Provide the information needed for go/no-go decisions.
    • Conduct tests in your area of expertise and enter the test results into the tool.
    • Please report any potential delays or quality issues.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Communicate progress to stakeholders through test reports.
    • Manage project committees related to test progress and defects.
    • Provide the key information needed for go/no-go decisions.
  • Identifying and resolving issues:
    • Identify issues within your scope, log them in the appropriate tool, and help prioritize them.
    • Help correct and validate errors.
  • Compliance with norms and standards:
    • Embrace the values of a service-oriented culture and adhere to its principles.
    • Follow the testing procedures established for the department and participate in workshops on these topics.

Your PROFILE

  • Technical background:
    • Degree in computer science or a related field.
    • Understanding of the project methodology.
    • Familiarity with the principles of test methodology and ISTQB terminology.
    • Experience testing applications related to life insurance or banking products is preferred.

Your SKILLS

  • Essential skills:
    • Proficiency in French.
    • At least 5 years of experience in testing activities.
    • Ability to develop testing strategies and schedules.
    • Ability to manage one or more software testers.
    • Work experience in an Agile environment.
    • Familiarity with Octane, JIRA, and Confluence.
    • Knowledge of API testing.
    • Proficiency in SQL.
    • Skills in risk identification and monitoring.
    • Strong coordination and motivational skills.
    • Systematic, critical, and logical thinking.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Commitment, high standards, and the ability to teach and mentor others.

 

  • Desired skills:
    • Experience with KARATE scripts for test automation.
    • Focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality results.
    • Ability to effectively manage stress and conflicts.
    • Good listening and questioning skills.
    • Strong learning abilities.
    • Ability to plan and prioritize workloads.
    • Ability to adapt to change and evolving circumstances.
  • Autonomy:
    You will have the freedom to plan and organize your own work schedule, set priorities within your area of responsibility, and report any issues regarding processes and procedures.
  • Work Environment:
    The position will be based in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal, with the opportunity to work closely with international teams.
