Our client, an international investment bank, is looking for a C++ developer specialized in low latency to expand its successful, fully automated computerized trading franchise across different asset classes.
This is a hands-on position covering the entire development cycle, from requirements gathering to final deployment, and including ongoing support for internal users. You will be working with an existing team of engineers to extend the functionality and performance of the company's trading system, which handles large volumes of the company's trading flows.
This is a unique opportunity for a software developer to become a key contributor and work alongside the talented team of software engineers, quants and traders on cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated quantitative strategies.
Your MISSIONS
- Design, develop and implement a state-of-the-art market connectivity system.
- Work alongside algorithm developers and traders to communicate different needs.
- Guarantee that order management complies with best execution practices.
- Collaborate with teams on an ongoing basis to develop everyone's skills.
Your PROFILE
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
Your SKILLS
- Current experience with C/C++, including familiarity with C++17 and templates.
- Low-latency coding, performance optimization and debugging.
- FIX & Binary connectivity protocols.
- Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP and multicast.
- FPGA experience is an asset in terms of in-depth understanding of how sockets work.
- Experience with market data flow managers, customer and market connectivity products.
- Knowledge of investment management operations and transaction execution solutions.
- Linux development experience.
- Experience in Python scripting (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills essential.
- Team spirit capable of developing robust software components.
- Good experience in analyzing and structuring large data sets.
- Knowledge of trading environments.

In 2015, I met the Quanteam teams at a student trade fair in Paris Dauphine and immediately got a good feeling. I joined the firm as Trade Support / Front Office and started an assignment with a Paris-based client. In 2018, I wanted to change my life and expressed the wish to move abroad. Quanteam was very open and offered me a move to the firm's New York office, as well as an assignment with one of its prestigious customers in the Banking sector. The Quanteam North America teams were very efficient in their support and took care of the whole administrative process (green card...) and, within three months, I was able to move to the United States. Over there, I discovered a new culture and a new continent, while keeping in touch with what makes Quanteam's DNA so strong: the closeness with management (Jean Etienne) and the teams, as well as the conviviality that can be found at the events regularly organized by the firm (roof-top afterwork, NBA basketball game, boat cruise...).
