To mark the 140th anniversary of the Stade Français, founded at Le Procope in 1883, the Stade Français Squash is delighted to have revived a high-level tournament over the weekend of January 20-22, which it intends to perpetuate.
Quanteam is proud to be the official sponsor of this tournament with a prize money of €4,000.
This National Men's tournament, approved by the PSA (Professional Squash Association) with the Satellite label, brought together more than half the players ranked in the first series (French Top 32), and most of the best youngsters under 22.
The 3 Wild-Cards have been awarded to promising young players who will benefit from the tournament:
- The first two invitations logically go to the Stade Français' two best players of today and tomorrow, 15-year-old twins Samuel and Ethan Rameau, who have just broken into the French Top 400 and are aiming much higher in the short term.
- Last place went to Ethan Lecordier, aged 13 and already 400th in France, multiple French champion in the under 11 and 13 age groups. Ethan trains in Créteil, and his presence allows us to thank the Ligue IDF, which also contributes financially to this event.
