Project management/functional and technical implementation mission within the information systems department affiliated to the trading room, the department is responsible for: managing/upgrading the information systems of the foreign exchange treasury department (market operations) as well as studying and implementing various upgrades to the systems.
Our team of consultants, comprising a developer, a project manager and a project leader, was tasked with migrating the trading room's products from an old system to Calypso V16.
During the 3-year mission, the stakes were high:
- Meeting milestones :
- Given that the project was divided into 3 lots (1 lot for Foreign Exchange / 1 lot for Money Market and 1 last lot for Securities), timely delivery was a determining factor, given that the old system no longer had monitoring or support, and therefore could no longer be upgraded.
- Regulations :
- Ensure that Calypso adapts to meet all the regulatory constraints imposed by the trading room, in particular through custom developments.
- Change management :
- Train users in the new tool, to guarantee at least the same level of productivity on the business side.
