We are recruiting a quantitative analyst consultant to work on the valuation of financial products.
Your MISSIONS
In order to support the development of the Quanteam Group's Quant Practice, you will be required to :
- Develop quantitative decision-making tools (market valuation, interest rate stress, index studies, etc.) and financial and extra-financial analysis tools (financial data, ESG, text analysis, etc.).
- Study and model the valuation of complex financial products. Maintain an active watch on the different types of structured products. Help set up new structured products.
- Develop quantitative management or systematic allocation models and tools (such as in-house ETFs, benchmark baskets, smart beta, factorial management and managed asset allocation algorithms).
- Study and analyze statistics and market data, and propose scenarios for market and portfolio trends.
- Propose and carry out innovative quantitative studies (factorial modeling, backtesting, benchmark construction methods, potential new fields of application, etc.).
- Participate in team publications (internal and external) and contribute to a watch on new technologies / new tools / new practices (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning).
In addition to your duties, you will play an active part in the life of the firm through various projects:
- Develop our service offering and support our banking team in their sales efforts.
- Support our consultants in their technical or personal development (training, publication of articles, etc.).
- Methodological, technical and standards watch and R&D work.
Your PROFILE
- Master's level (business school, engineering school or university).
- Ideally, you will have gained initial experience in banking and/or consulting.
Your SKILLS
- You have developed recognized expertise either in modeling, financial product valuation, model risk management, independent validation or audit / general inspection positions.
- You are familiar with the main modeling software and data management tools (C, C++, Python, Matlab, R...).
- You're a team player, open-minded and analytical, and you'd like to join a motivating professional environment.
- Fluency in English (written / spoken) required.
