Frédéric, IT Consultant in the IT & Information Systems Practice

A former civil servant and graduate of Science Po Grenoble, I joined the Rainbow Partners group and Quanteam in 2023, after more than 30 years in the civil service as an IT project manager. I wanted to become a consultant and join the private sector to develop certain technical skills in greater depth. I had an initial discussion with the Lyon-based partners in 2022, and we had a good feeling about each other. But I was waiting for a challenging assignment, one that would correspond very precisely to my plan to develop my skills, and this was offered to me within the banking sector at the beginning of 2023. What I appreciate about Lyon is the diversity and proximity of the firm. Despite my atypical profile and my seniority, they had confidence in me and were able to make the most of my experience.

With 35 years' experience as a developer, then analyst, trainer, project manager and team manager, I decided to change my life in 2001 and leave the Paris region, to return to my Burgundy roots and improve my living environment. Before joining the Rainbow Partners group in Lyon, and joining one of its customers in the banking sector, I managed several IT projects, notably for a B2B software publisher.
What prompted me to join Rainbow's Lyon office? A meeting with the partners (Kévin and Julien) which created a relationship of trust, and made all the difference. Since my arrival, in the spring of 2023, I've noticed a real desire to help consultants grow within Rainbow Partners, opportunities for functional mobility and, above all, a great deal of freedom in the choice of assignments and the autonomy given to consultants.
