The Quantitative Research team is responsible for maintaining and building, in collaboration with the Global Markets IT team, new architectures and solutions to streamline and harmonize the pricing, risk and P&L chain for various financial products (e.g. interest rates, foreign exchange, credit, equities and derivatives).
This is an opportunity to work on reengineering plans with ambitious objectives, requiring a large number of experts working together to deliver new platforms.
Your MISSIONS
- Adapt the calculation of risk and P&L explanations following model modifications or in order to improve P&L explanations for existing models.
- Increase the platform's coverage and help deploy it to users not yet integrated.
- Participate in platform development to ensure that the code base remains at production level.
- Ensure a high level of platform availability.
- Assist traders when they need expertise to understand their P&L and revenue drivers.
Your PROFILE
- Master's level (business school, engineering school or university).
Your SKILLS
- Good knowledge of an asset class (fixed income, equity derivatives).
- Previous experience in quantitative research in a front office environment is mandatory.
- Solid experience in mathematics (numerical analysis, algorithms, etc.).
- Extensive experience with C++, C#, Java or Python.
- Comfortable with large-scale libraries and working with different profiles (quant, IT, etc.).
- Ability to propose new design models and architectures with a strong emphasis on clean, orderly code with a focus on industrialization.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently within the requirements of the project and the quantitative team.
- Flexible and practical attitude, with a willingness to get things done.
- Fluency in English (written / spoken) required.

In 2015, I met the Quanteam teams at a student trade fair in Paris Dauphine and immediately got a good feeling. I joined the firm as Trade Support / Front Office and started an assignment with a Paris-based client. In 2018, I wanted to change my life and expressed the wish to move abroad. Quanteam was very open and offered me a move to the firm's New York office, as well as an assignment with one of its prestigious customers in the Banking sector. The Quanteam North America teams were very efficient in their support and took care of the whole administrative process (green card...) and, within three months, I was able to move to the United States. Over there, I discovered a new culture and a new continent, while keeping in touch with what makes Quanteam's DNA so strong: the closeness with management (Jean Etienne) and the teams, as well as the conviviality that can be found at the events regularly organized by the firm (roof-top afterwork, NBA basketball game, boat cruise...).
