Details of the Offer
You will work on a service-oriented Web/Angular application (REST API) that uses complex SQL queries to enable clients (front office, middle office, and compliance) to execute transactions on Canadian markets and report those transactions to regulators.
Your RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing new features. This involves not only writing code, but also making design and architectural decisions, conducting tests, monitoring quality metrics, and producing documentation.
- Presenting the features to stakeholders and product owners to gain a solid understanding of the business.
- Participation in Scrum-related activities, such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and code demonstrations.
- Delivery of software that complies with standards.
- Provide operational support as needed.
Your PROFILE
- Master’s degree (from a business school, engineering school, or university).
- At least 5 years of IT experience in complex information systems environments. Experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
Your SKILLS
- Significant experience with C# – .NET Core and SQL – SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Angular is a plus.
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Proficiency in the Agile Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Ability to work with complex information systems.
- Knowledge of the corporate finance sector (stock market, interest rates, derivatives, etc.) is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. French is a plus.
- Organizational skills, a systematic approach, and analytical skills.
- Communication skills.
